DORIS PENDERGRASS,

68, was born May 1, 1947 in Tupelo, MS and passed away August 24, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto.  She is survived by one son, David Smith of Greers Ferry, AR; one daughter, Tina Montgomery and her husband, Kevin of Olive Branch, MS; three step-children, Rodney Pendergrass of Southaven, Anthony Pendergrass and Michelle Pendergrass, both of Mississippi; three brothers, Lavert Wilson, James Wilson, and Leslie Wilson; three sisters, Mary Anne Guthrie, Sara Saport, and Barbra Jene Coggins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Pendergrass.  Visitation will be

at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, where she was a member.  Graveside services will begin at

1:30 p.m.

at Palestine Cemetery near Clarksburg, TN.  The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Heart Association.  Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven
