Ernest Edward “Eddie” Duncan

Ernest Edward “Eddie” Duncan, age 86, of Southaven, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. He was born in Tippah County, MS on November 20, 1936 to the late Ernest Quitman and Gracie (Rogers) Duncan.
Eddie was a member of Carriage Hills Baptist Church and had previously worked for Bluff City Electronics as a Sales Representative and Manager for 42 years before his retirement. He loved the Smoky Mountains, Bluegrass music, the Ole Miss Rebels, and most of all, his family.
In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his brother, Rayburn Duncan and brother-in-law Johnny Bain.
Eddie will be remembered by his beloved wife of 62 years, Patsy Staten Duncan, whom he married on August 26, 1960, son Mark Duncan (Jill), daughter Debbie Duncan Mann (Al), grandchildren Brad Mann, Brittany Medders (Donnie), and Josh Duncan (Sidney Kelley), sister Dorothy Sue Bain, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Carriage Hills Baptist Church, 8352 Farmington Drive West, Southaven, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Burial will be private at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
