Etta Mae Shipp, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Etta was born on March 8, 1937 in Ripley, Mississippi to Lawrence Thomas Muse and Mary Etta Coston Muse. Etta enjoyed spending time with her family and friends- doing cook outs and fish fries. She loved to go to the horse races and playing cards with her friends. She loved her family more than anything in the world. She will truly be missed by all those that knew her.
Etta is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Clifford N.L. Shipp; her parents, her son William Joseph Stewart; a brother, Thomas Muse; and a sister, Betty Ann Cockrum.
Etta is survived by her children, Glenda (Gary) Stewart McLearen and daughter-in-law, Susan Stewart; six grandchildren Julie (Josh) Heady; Joey (Kathleen) Stewart; Jason (Katie) Stewart; Len (Tara) Roberson; Tina (Danny) Sheppard; Gary Mclearen Jr; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

American Cancer Society
