Gene M. Hise, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. There will be an open house visitation with food for family and friends on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Life Center (

Gene M. Hise leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Alesia Hise; son, Jeremy (Justine) Whitaker; grandchild, Mabel, father-in- law, Buddy Lee; other close family members, Jimmy & Rebecca Cameron and Terry Davis.
In lieu of traditional gifts, the family will receive canned food items for the Olive Branch Food Pantry or memorials may be made direct to Olive Branch Food Ministry (
