Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 am, followed by funeral service at 1:00 pm, interment will immediately follow. All services will be at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church, 5020 Getwell Rd S, Hernando, MS 38632.
Mrs. Rodgers was born on July 28, 1938, in Tupelo, MS to Ray and Louise Barnett. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was a devoted member of Gray’s Creek Baptist Church in Hernando, MS.
Geraldine leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Wayne Rodgers; daughters, Brenda Tutor (Gregg), Sandra Powell (Randy); grandchildren, Ethan Powell (Sydney), Jacob Powell (Jordan), Austin Dunnahoo (Brianna), Lucas Powell, Austin Powell (Meredith), Nik Tutor, Justin Tutor (Chelsea), Will Tutor; great-grandchildren, Briley Powell, Harlyn Powell, Brayden Tutor, Killian Tutor, Tenley Tutor, Rylan Tutor; brother, Billy Barnett (Shirley); lots of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Barnett and Louise HollihanVisitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 am, followed by funeral service at 1:00 pm, interment will immediately follow. All services will be at Gray's Creek Baptist Church, 5020 Getwell Rd S, Hernando, MS 38632.
