joined her husband Alvin Hart, daughter Annette Kelley, son Wolfgang Rupp and granddaughters Janine Bliss and Faith Bogan in Heaven on December 6, 2016. She was born December 7, 1928 in Mannheim, Germany.
Gerda is survived by the blended family including children: Diane Hart Engles (Greg), Alvin R. Hart (Jo Anne), Corinna Senft (Robert), Steffen Rupp (Carmen), David W. Hart. Grandchildren include: Harold R. Engles (Crystal), Patience Engles, Alexander Rupp (Juliane), Simone Laufer (Jim Whalen), Martin Rupp (Lisa), Celina R. Engles, Tanja Meyer (Thorsten), Natasha Hart, Stefanie Schindele (Daniel), Marcus Rupp, Tabitha Hart, Tia Hart, Nicolai Rupp, Johanna Rupp. Gerda was also blessed with many great-grandchildren.
There will be a service in Flint, Michigan, where she will be reunited with her husband, at Flint Memorial Park, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to one of her favorite charities: St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA.
