Gwendolyn (Stone) Goin Crofts, age 70, of Southaven, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. She was born in Birmingham, AL on May 28, 1952 to the late Rayford and Violet Ilene (Abbott) Stone.
Gwen was a member of Cross Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Branch. She loved spending time with her sisters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved reading, singing, and watching both Memphis basketball teams, the Tigers and the Grizzlies.
In addition to her parents, Gwen is preceded in death by her first husband of nearly 32 years, Terry Goin, Sr. in June 2000, and her second husband of 15 years in June 2022 Randall Crofts, and her older sister Jean Weaver.
Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shauna Brewer (Larry) of Cross Roads, TX, Terry Goin (Trisha) of Southaven, and Anthony Goin (Meagan) of Horn Lake, grandchildren Katelyn (Brewer) Hadley of Aubrey, TX, Abigail Brewer of Frisco, TX, Andrew Brewer of Aubrey, TX, John Burnham of Horn Lake, and Danielle Goin of Horn Lake, great-grandchildren Merit Brewer, Rhett Hadley, River Hadley, Mallie Brewer, and one more that is due in October 2023, sisters Denise Redding of Olive Branch and Cheryl Stone of Southaven, as well as her step-children and step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
