Jan Gardner, 86, went home on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jan was born on August 12, 1934 in Lexington, Mississippi. She was a member of Whitehaven Baptist. She loved her family more than anything. Jan will be greatly missed for the unconditional love she gave, the smile that lit up a room, and the hugs that gave comfort and strength.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Martin; grandchildren, Amanda and Christopher Appleton and Zachary and Matthew McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Lathin and Caleb Davis, Jared Byrd, and Haeden Eastling; great great-grandchildren, Aiden, Abbygail and Kenzie Davis, and Grayson and Kayden Byrd; two brothers, Buddy and Ronnie Gardner.
Jan is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Curtis Gardner; parents, William and Ruby Harrison; and children, Christopher Appleton, Jimmy Westerfield, and Larry McKenzie.Due to Covid-19 mandates Twin Oaks Memorial, Gardens & Funeral Home is not allowed to release service details. All services are considered private services and limited to the State of Mississippi and federal mandated number of guests. We understand the difficulty of this situation but must adhere to the mandate for the safety of our guests and staff alike.
