Janet Williams Turman, 66, was born August 3, 1950 in Tupelo, MS and passed away February 13, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, John Thomas Turman; two sons, Chris Shelton and his wife, Magan and Shawn Shelton and his wife, Robbie Jo; mother, Margaret Williams; two brothers, Sid Williams and his wife, Linda and Jeff Williams and his wife, Lisa; two sisters, Carla Coopwood and Nancy Canada and her husband, Al; five grandchildren, Blain Shelton and his wife, Hannah Camp, Crayton Shelton, Brhea Shelton, Maddie Shelton, and Ella Shelton; and three great grandchildren, Gracelynn Shelton, Ainsley Shelton, and Ella Grace Camp. She was preceded in death by her father, Crayton Williams. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 16th from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12 noon. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the West Clinic,7668 Airways Blvd., Southaven, MS 38671.
