Janice Mae Hayes, age 79, passed away on May 27, 2022, in Southaven, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at Twin Oaks Funeral Home. 290 Goodman Road E. Southaven, MS 38671.
Mrs. Hayes was born on March 30, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA to Rev. Thornton Thompson and Dorothy Lois Ritchey. She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and was a registered nurse for 45 years. Janice was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Horn Lake, MS and she was a friend to everyone.
She leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Marion Hayes; son, Mark Hayes (Amy); grandson, Matthew Hayes; siblings, David Thompson, Mary Ann Noppe, and Barry Thompson.
