Jeanne Vinson McAfee November 10, 1950 - September 10, 2020

Jeanne Vinson McAfee, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on September 10, 2020 at age 69.

Jeanne was born on November 10, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to Woody and Lois Vinson.  She dedicated over 41 years to the United States Postal Service, including a stint as Postmaster over the Millington Post Office.  Jeanne was an avid traveler and visited several countries as well as 48 of the 50 U.S. states.  In her spare time she enjoyed an array of activities; including golfing, bowling and gardening.  She was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile and her contagious, unrestrained roaring laugh.  She was a loving mother whose children and family meant more than anything to her.  She will be truly missed.

Jeanne is survived by her mother Lois Vinson; her daughter, Shana Jeannine Fulwood; and her two sons, Brandon Vinson Fair and Adam Davis Fair; by her grandchildren, Kaylen, Kelsey and Karli Fulwood and Colby, Carson and Camden Fair; and by her sisters Debbie McCulley and Cathy Polischeck.  Jeanne will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and her loving companion, Everett Crowder.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Woodson Vinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
