Jimmy Lee Mullins, 75, of Walls, Mississippi passed away on January 25, 2021. Family will be receiving friends Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church (5154 US Hwy 51 Horn Lake, MS 38637). A funeral service will be held following. Interment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jimmy was born on June 29, 1945 in Burnsville, Mississippi. He was a faithful member to Calvary Baptist Church. Some things Jimmy enjoyed doing were fishing, working on cars, camping, or just being at the lake in general. One of his proud achievements in his life was when he received his real estate licenses. He was also an army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He will truly be missed by those close to him.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Opal Elaine Mullins; children, James “Mike” (Amanda) Mullins and Sonya Elaine (Nathan) Shefveland; grandchildren, Bethany, Caleb, Dylan, Katie, James, Jack, Alex, Donovan, and Ethan; two great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Grimes; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reedis Perry and Mae Mullins; one brother and two sisters.
