John Gregory Moran

John Gregory Moran, 74, of Horn Lake, MS, was born April 14, 1943 in Arkansas and passed away July 5, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven, MS.  Mr. Moran was a retired security officer for Sams Town Casino and retired from the U.S. Army after serving 20 years and receiving the Purple Heart during the Vietnam War.  He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Dottie Moran; one son, John Gregory Moran, Jr.; one daughter, Erika Moran; two stepsons, George Taylor and his wife, Melva and Kevin Taylor; one stepdaughter, Susan Ehlen and her husband, Wade; three brothers, Jeff Moran and his wife, Vicki, Cliff Moran, and Mitch Moran; one sister, Sue Ellen Crull; five grandchildren; and one step granddaughter.
