Joseph “Bubba” William Meziere, 64, was called home to Heaven on 01/20/2023. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 04, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. , followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Road E., Southaven, MS, 38671.

Joe was born to Joseph and Alice Meziere in Monroe, LA. He served as a US Marine after high school. Joe loved life and enjoyed time with his horses and dogs. He enjoyed storytelling and making people laugh. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and never missed a moment to FaceTime with them.

Joe leaves behind his life partner Cindy Cowger “My Cindy”; his daughter and son-in-law, Leslie, and Wes Welch; his grandchildren, Riana Welch, Luke Owens, Katelyn Welch, Logan Owens and Joseph “Joey” Welch; his mother, Alice Meziere; his brother, Mike Meziere and his wife, Pam; his sisters, Janet Brown and Tammy Barnett. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joe was preceded in death by his beloved son Joseph Paul Meziere and his father Joseph Meziere.

The family has requested that all flowers/floral arrangements be sent to Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Road E., Southaven, MS 38671.

    So sorry to learn of Joe’s passing. I only knew him for a little while, a couple of years when visiting Norm and Cindy Cowger, but so enjoyed his sense of humor and friendship via text and phone. He was a terrific person and one that I am glad to have known.
