Joshua Dewayne Turner, 28, of Horn Lake, MS, passed away from this life into the arms of Jesus Christ on September 16, 2021 at St Francis Hospital. . Family will be receiving friends on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671). Interment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
He was born in Memphis, TN to Donny and Diane Turner on September 20, 1992.
Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Turner who passed away September 16, 2012, his grandfather, William “Bill” Wilson, and grandmother, Reba Turner.
He leaves behind his mother, Diane Turner, three siblings, Kelly Stroud, Amber Turner, Donald Glenn Turner, Jr., Grandmother, Callie Wilson, Grandfather, Bobby Turner, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
The family asks for memorials to be sent to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

What makes me even more sad is that their deaths were likely preventable. Please, everyone who is unsure, get vaccinated and save your loved ones the pain and anguish!
