June B. Dye passed peacefully at her home on July 17, 2016. She was born June 8, 1934 inColumbus, Kentucky to Floyd and Alberta Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sammie M. Dye, of 44 years. June is survived by her children Kenny Dye, Karla Lance (Randy), and Katrina Bolden (Daniel); her grandchildren Justin Lance(Lauren), Karrie Hall (Bruce), Mandy Newton (Nathan), and Hunter Bolden; her great grandchildren Tanner, Bolden, and Kemsey Newton, Braylon and Braxton Hall; her brother Bobby Brown (Carline); her sisters Ann Tharp (Tip) and Nancy Solmon (Sonny) as well as many other family members and friends.
June was compassionate and caring, touching the hearts of many throughout her career in the banking and real estate business as well as in her everyday life. She was a member of Minor Memorial UMC and a board member of the M. R Dye library.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 P.M. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home followed by a funeral service Friday, July 22 at 10:00 A.M. The family requests memorials be made to Minor Memorial UMC in Walls, MS or the M.R. Dye Library in Horn Lake.
