It is with heavy hearts that we announce our dear mother, Katrina Diane Wilson, sadly passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 68 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born on December 16
th
, 1953 in Columbus, GA and moved to Forest Park, GA where she was a 1971 graduate of Forest Park High School. Diane was proud to be a southern Georgia girl.
A dedicated and passionate employee, she began an award winning forty-year career in multi-family residential property management upon moving to Memphis, TN in 1976. Her leadership and mentorship will have a lasting influence as she committed so much to her coworkers and her career.
A devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was unapologetically opinionated and fiercely loyal to her family, friends and the Memphis Tigers. Her unconditional love, support, generosity, honesty and sense of humor will continue to serve as the backbone of our family. She was everything a mom should be. Her kind spirit will be greatly missed.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Thomas Wilson of Olive Branch, MS; Son, Chris Norton and his wife Melissa of Collierville, TN; daughter Alisha Keene and her husband Michael of Southaven, MS; son, Jason Wilson and his wife Michaela of Collierville, TN; brother Dennis Hunter of Oxford, GA; brother Dale Hunter of Oxford, GA; brother Danny Hunter of Porterdale, GA; as well as all of her angel babies Pierce, Alex, Connor, McKenzie Jo, Camdon, Hunter, Kennedy and Everly Blake.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Galloway of Quincy, FL and father, Eugene Hunter of Iron City, GA.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm at 7459 English Ivy, Olive Branch, MS 38654.
