Leon Massey,

77, was born February 8, 1940 in Memphis, TN and passed away March 15, 2017 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS.  Mr. Massey was a retired trucker for Roadway Express, a member of Colonial Hills Church in Southaven, an Army veteran, and was a Mason.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Massey; son, Michael Massey; brother, Sonny Massey; sister, Delores Cox; grandchild, Megan Renee Massey; and his recliner babies, Bruiser and Bella.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Burley and Loraine Massey and brother, A B Massey.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Colonial Hills Church, 7701 Highway 51 North, Southaven, MS.  The funeral service will be Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the church with burial following in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.
