Lillie S. Bostick

Lillie S. Bostick, 89, of Horn Lake, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Baptist Desoto in Southaven. She was born on March 13, 1929 in Mississippi to the late Minor F. Smith and Bennie Belle Jaco Smith.

Mrs. Bostick was a very compassionate and loving lady. She was a homemaker and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved the Lord with all of heart. Mrs. Lillie was a member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by everyone who ever came into contact with her though out her lifetime.

Mrs. Bostick is survived by her two sons, A.L. Bostick, Jr. (Cindy) of Bessemer City, NC and Minor Bostick of Horn Lake, MS; one brother, Minor F. Smith, Jr. of Southaven, MS; one sister, Marion Wilson of Birmingham, AL; two grandchildren, Shelly Marie King and Amy Lee Hunsucker; six great grandchildren, Elizabeth Keegan Downing, Abigail Downing, Paul Downing III, Gavin King, Emma Hunsucker, and Heidy Hunsucker; and one great- great grandchild, Neveah Marie Simmons.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, A.L. Bostick, Sr.; one sister, Polly Howell, and one brother, Joe Joseph Smith.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Twin Oaks Funeral Home with a service to follow at 11:00 AM . Interment will be held at New Bethlehem Cemetery.
