Lois “Jeanette” Icenberger, age 84, passed away August 30, 2022, in Southaven, Mississippi. A Graveside service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 2:00pm in the committal building of West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN, 38125. Due to limited space, only close family and friends are asked to attend.

Mrs. Icenberger was born in Ramer, Tennessee on August 18, 1938, to Cylde and Icee Derryberry. She was a member of Holmes Road Church of Christ for over 40 years, and faithfully attended services there until her illness restricted her ability to do so.

Mrs. Icenberger was an Avon representative in the Southaven area for over 50 years.  While she was the recipient of many sales awards, the accomplishment she cherished most was the life-long friendships she made along the way.

Jeanette leaves behind three children; Tim (April) Icenberger, Wendy (Scott) Caldwell and Chris Icenberger, and seven Grandchildren.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Clyde and Icee Derryberry, Husband of 58 years; Harry Icenberger, four siblings; Charles Derryberry, Raymond Derryberry, Joyce Barnes & Terry Derryberry.

 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made to the many charities supporting Alzheimer’s and Dementia research and care.
