Louise Buckner, 82, of Nesbit, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in her residence. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671). Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Louise leaves to cherish her memories; her children, Kathy (Steve) Kriese, Douglas Buckner, and Karen Johnson; grandchildren, Brian Cox, Ariane Bogdanski, Hunter Andrews, Kennedy Buckner, Elizabeth Buckner, and Morgan Benjamin; and seven siblings. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hernando, Ms.. Worshipping and visiting with her church family was the highlight of every week. She enjoyed working in her yard and family time with her children and grand children. She will be greatly missed by all of them.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Buckner; parents, Grady and Belle Proffitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude (stjude.org).
