Loyce Ellen Sumner Browning, age 85, passed away on January 18, 2022, in Southaven, MS. Visitation will be on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 12:00 pm, followed by funeral service and interment at 1:00 pm, at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Mrs. Browning was born in Sumner, MS on February 23, 1936, to James Sumner and Opal Breland Sumner. She liked going fishing, camping, to baseball games, and to church. She was a member of New Day Fellowship in Southaven, MS. She was also an awesome hero to her children.
Loyce leaves behind her husband of over 40 years, William Melvin Browning; children, Connie Speck, James Melvin Browning (Karen), Glenda Diane Roark (Jamie), William Glynn Browning; grandchildren, Matt Lauren, Christy Heidrick (Franky), Joshua Speck, Catrina Curley (Nick), Erin Francisco (Victor); nine great-grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Sumner.
She is preceded in death by her grandchild, Alicia Marie Speck; sister, Juanita Townsend; brother, Herbert Glenn Sumner.
