Margaret Pearl Holt

Margaret Pearl Holt, age 81 of Southaven, MS went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born May 8, 1940 to the late Antonio and Feliz Perona. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Holt and her daughter, Jeanette Bryant.
Margaret was a charismatic personality who never met a stranger. She was colorful, loud, energetic and generous. She loved and served the Lord. She made it her life’s work to show the love of Christ through helping others. For many years she was involved in charitable work in her community and surrounding areas. She always gave God the glory for being able to do for others. To her family she was known as “Crazy Granna”, a name coined by one of her young grandchildren, because of her loud, playful and boisterous nature.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Martin Anthony Bryant and Greg Bryant (Marie); step son, Mark Holt (Kim); grandchildren, Chad Bush, Brandi Bush, Alex Lochamy, Sammi Lochamy, Noble Bryant, Annalyn Bryant, Chet Bryant, Morgan Toll, Olivia Holt and Cade Holt; brother, Al Perona. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A graveside service and inurnment to honor the life of Margaret Holt will be conducted Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Autumn Woods Cemetery in Olive Branch.
