Mark Edward Wilson, 53, of Hernando, Mississippi passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 in Tishomingo County. He was born on May 28, 1965 in Portsmouth, Virginia to George P. Wilson and Peggy Hawkins Bennett.
Mark was adventurous and loved life. He was an avid hunter and loved to be outdoors any time he could be. He was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and had a vast amount of knowledge about guns.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy Bennett of Hernando, MS; his father, George P. Wilson of Batesville, MS; one half- brother, Joseph Wilson; one half-sister, Mary Wilson; his Aunt Shirley Lowrey of Millington, TN; and a special friend, Billy Wilson of Signal Mountain, TN.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wilson; his grandmother, Rhoda Pound; and his step father, Frank Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 11:00-12:00 PM in the chapel of Twin Oaks Funeral Home with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
