I am very sorry I can not attend this memorial for such a very special woman. Her patience and thoughtful guidance was always greatly appreciated. Her gentle spirit and kindness was an example to me and certainly to everyone she encountered. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am greatly humbled to have been fortunate enough to know and receive the love of such a very special woman. Mary and I had a deal I sent flowers for most occasions over the years that I could – she swore she would only accept them IF I didn’t send flowers to her funeral and I will keep that deal.
