She retired after working at Harding Academy and McKesson in Memphis, Tennessee. She loved bowling and was

a

advocate Sunday School teacher at Nesbit Church of Christ in Hernando, Mississippi for many years.  She also spent many hours reading her Bible each day.

son Melvin Carlock Jr. and his wife Tracy, 2 Grandchildren; Mandy and Cole Carlock, 1 Brother; Horace Coleman and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

er parents,

Sidney and Mary Coleman, Loving husband of 49 years Melvin Carlock Sr., daughter; Marilyn Lee Carlock Bond, two sisters, Robbie Shipp and Nida Douglas and four brothers, James Coleman, Roland Coleman, Robert “Tooley” Coleman and Billy Jack Coleman.

Special thanks to her church family and a Bonnie Alison and her family.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10am at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with members of the Nesbit Church of Christ officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in her memory to Children’s Home of Paragould, Arkansas or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
