Melissa Ann (Lane) Miller

Melissa Ann (Lane) Miller, age 54, of Horn Lake, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Memphis, TN on April 23, 1968 to Clifford and Hilda (Murrin) Lane.
Melissa was a festive person and always decorated for each holiday, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved fishing, reading, doing puzzle books, loved the snow, and loved singing for the kids at St. Jude’s with her husband, Michael. However, as much as she loved each of these, none of these compared to her love for her family, and she loved to be called “Gammy”
Melissa is preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Lane.
Melissa’s memory will be cherished by her beloved husband of 28 years, Michael Miller, children Nicole Miller, Jesse Miller (Daenara Pulliam), and Cody Miller (Sarah), grandchildren Rosie Miller and Anakin Tice, brother Carl Lane (Tiffany), sister Tina Lane (Mark Hammond), close friends Tim and Lura Hagemaster and Sheri Sills, and her grand fur-babies, Chance and Jax, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made in Melissa’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
