Nancy Moore Tudor, 81, of Southaven, Mississippi passed away on September 13, 2018 at her residence in Southaven. She was born in Norlina, North Carolina on August 23, 1937 to the late Charles Macon Moore and Beatrice Overby Moore.
Mrs. Tudor was a phenomenal woman. She was compassionate and understanding. She taught school for over thirty years and loved every moment of it. Mrs. Tudor also was a cheerleading sponsor. She enjoyed reading and gardening in her spare time. Mrs. Tudor was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son, Lee Tudor (Bobbie) of Mount Juliet, TN; one daughter, Sarah Little (Mike) of Southaven, MS; two brothers, Charles Moore (Jane) of Holly Springs, NC and Bob Moore of Greer, South Carolina; one sister, Joyce Walker (Bill) of Littleton, NC; and five grandchildren, Megan Tudor, Joey Little, Hunter Tudor, Hailey Tudor, and Taylor Little.
Mrs. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Bob Tudor, and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 11:00- 1:00 PM in the chapel of Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East, Southaven, MS 38671). A funeral service will directly follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
