Paul William Pannell, age 76, passed away July 30, 2022, in Southaven, MS. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held on Thursday, August 04, 2022, from 5:30pm -7:00pm at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Mr. Pannell was born March 26, 1946, in Baldwyn, MS to the late Odis and Kathrine (Mitchell) Pannell. He was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church and a retired Deputy of the Hernando Sheriff’s Department. He was well liked by the community and never met a stranger. He had faith in his family, was very nurturing, and loved his wife of 22 years, Sylvia, very much.
Paul leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Sylvia Pannell; children, Teresa LaDawn Sandidge (Thomas), Tia Michele Mcintyre (Ronnie Holliday); grandchildren, Charles Blake Anyon, James Cory Penland, Hunter Mcintyre; sister, Peggy Long; nephews, Eddy Taylor, Scott Taylor, and Tony Taylor.
Those preceded in death include his parents, Odis and Kathrine (Mitchell) Pannell and sister, Sandra Samples.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
