RICHARD HOYT SHARP, SR.,
83, was born October 30, 1932 in Corinth, MS and passed away February 8, 2016 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven. Mr. Sharp was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of Grace Bible Church, the VFW, and American Legion. He is survived by his daughter-in-law: Linda Sharp; and two grandchildren, Richard Hoyt Sharp III and Victoria Christiane Sharp. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Tommie Childress Sharp; two sons, Richard Hoyt Sharp, Jr. and Tony Wayne Sharp; his parents, Cecil A. and Lucille White Sharp; three brothers, Charles D. Sharp, John T. Sharp, and Carl A. Sharp; and one sister, Bobby Jean Morgan. Visitation will be
Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.
at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Services will be
Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 1 p.m.
at the funeral home. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
