, of Horn Lake, MS, passed away on Monday June 5, 2017 in Memphis, TN.

at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Richard’s dear friend, Jackie Bostick, will be speaking.
Richard was born in Helena, AR on June 18, 1962 to parents MaryAnn Powers Braden and Halbert St John Jr. He attended and graduated from Horn Lake High School in 1981. In 1982, he joined the U.S Army as an infantryman and was a part of the 82
nd
Airborne Paratroopers. He spent time in Germany and Egypt before returning home. Richard worked with Boilermakers, and the local UA 614 as a welder and pipefitter. He most enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being around family and friends as the life of the party.
Richard St John is preceded in death by his father Halbert StJohn Jr., his grandmothers Lois Tabor and Mary St John, his grandfather Halbert L. St John Sr., and his uncle James Powers.
Richard St John is survived by his son and daughter RichardSean St John and Tori St John Henson, sisters Donna Thompson and Peggy Williams, brother Terry St John, mother and step-father MaryAnn and Tom Braden, and nine nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and patient care givers who took care of Richard and comforted his family during this time. The family would also like to thank friends for kind words and support. And lastly, the family would like to thank Twin Oaks for their services.
