Robert Wayne Foy

Robert Wayne Foy, 83, of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2017. He was born on June 04, 1934 to the late Robert and Gertie Foy. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Margie Foy; two sons, Thurston Foy and Thomas Wayne Foy; two brothers, Martan Foy and Smokey Foy; three sisters, Lillian Green, Glenda Stewart, and Jan Foy; three grandchildren, Robert Thomas Foy, Cassandra Greer (Dustin), and Tara Michelle Foy; and one great-grandchild, Nova Grace Greer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son. Mr. Foy loved to garden and was best known for sharing his vegetables with everyone. He was a Pressman for the Commercial Appeal in Memphis, Tennessee where he later retired. Visitation for Mr. Foy is scheduled for Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, Mississippi. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg , Mississippi  at 12:00 P.M.  In Lieu of flowers please direct contributions to Colonial Hills Building Fund or Kirk Baptist Church Building Fund, 6365 Raleigh LaGrange Road, Collierville, Tennessee 38017.
