Rodney Wayne Thomas

Rodney Wayne Thomas, 51, passed away on September 20, 2021 in Southaven, Mississippi. Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671). Interment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Rodney was born on December 16, 1969 in Tennessee. Rodney was a member of Cross Life in Byhalia, Mississippi. He loved his family more than anything in the world. Rodney was the best husband anyone could have ever had. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him liked him.  He never met a stranger.  Rodney Wayne will truly be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of Paula Rebecca Thomas; children, Haley Michelle Johns, Taylor Morgan Thomas, Kaitlyn Nelson, Michael Lance Kirby; grandchildren, Alexis Michelle Gamez, Alina Morgan Gamez, Charisma Danielle Johns, Abbigail Grace Johns, and Ally Grace Nelson; step-father, Frank Sikes.

Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Leroy Thomas and Patricia Ann Sikes; brother, Kenneth Ashley Thomas; and sister, Theresa Ilene Thomas.
