Roy Cecil Betts, 64, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Nesbit, Mississippi. Family will be receiving friends on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671).
Roy was born on October 1, 1956 in Jackson, MS. Some of Roy’s favorite things to do were fishing, camping, and stargazing. Roy had an amazing voice when he sang and loved to pick at the guitar and slow dance. He had a love for Harley Davison motorcycles, Ford trucks, and muscle cars. Most of all Roy loved and cherished his family. He will truly be missed.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Betts Wilson (Gary), Richard Immanuel Betts (Ashley), Jonathan Isaac Betts, Kelsey Faye Betts, and Jules Betts; grandchildren, Caitlin Danielle Avelis, Ace Avelis, Kaylee Paris Betts, Lilly Marie Betts, Layla Nicole Betts, Richard Elijah Betts, Alexa Nevaeh Betts, Lincoln Alexander Betts, Kayleigh Raye Weeks, Joanna Leanne Weeks, Amelia Grace Betts; sisters, Katheleen Betts Heuck and Sarah Murray; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Cecil and Lucille Clara Frank; siblings, Angeline Gail Betts, Robert Damron, Lucille Damron, Maureen Holcomb, Dennis Damron and niece’s Felisha Gail Betts and Ella Betts.Family will be receiving friends on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671).
