Mrs. Sheila Irene Gant, 54, of Southaven, MS passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto, located in Southaven. She was born October 15, 1964 in Marks, MS to Melvin Ray Butler and Irene Rowland Butler.
Mrs. Gant was a one of a kind woman in many aspects. She always worried about the needs of others before her own. Her door was always open to any and everyone who needed her help. Mrs. Gant enjoyed going out shopping as well as getting her nails done. She absolutely loved decorating for the holidays, with her favorite being Christmas. Her family was always her first priority. She adored her grandchildren and especially her fur babies. Mrs. Gant kept a beautiful home and had a strict cleaning schedule. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her plants and flowers. According to her family, she was also a wonderful cook, who made the best chicken and dressing and fried chicken. Mrs. Gant’s memory will continue to be cherished by her family and friends whom she shared her life with.
Mrs. Gant leaves behind her loving husband of two years, Randy Gant of Senatobia, MS; one daughter, Hannah Gill (Caleb) of Southaven, MS; one step-daughter, Felicia Brumfield (Billy) of Chrisney, IN; one son, Chad Wilkerson of Memphis, TN; one step-son, Randy Gant (Kristen) of Senatobia, MS; mother, Irene Butler of Senatobia, MS; one sister, Rita Crawford (Mike) of Coldwater, MS; three brothers, Ronald Butler (Rhonda) of Bartlett, TN, Donald Butler of Senatobia, MS, and Dana Butler (Debbie) of Indianapolis, IN; two nieces, Chelsie Butler (Garrett Manos) of Southaven, MS and Heather Crawford of Coldwater, MS; four step-granddaughters, Adalyn Brumfield, Kenzley Brumfield, Isabella Gant, and Sarah Gant; two step-grandsons, Cayden Gant and Andrew Brumfield.
