77, was born August 13, 1938 in Memphis, TN to the late Frank and Edith Berretta and passed away December 25, 2015 at Cape Fear Hospital in Fayetteville. Dr. Berretta was a professor at the University of North Carolina for over 30 years. She is survived by two sisters, Edith Gail Smith and her husband, Fred and Linda Kay McBride and her husband, Charles; one brother, Frank Conrad Berretta; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rudolph Berretta and Ronnie Berretta. Visitation will be

at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Memphis, TN. The family requests that any memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
