Sylvia Ann Childs passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 01, 2022, at her home in Southaven, Mississippi at the age of 72. Visitation will be Thursday December 08, 2022, at 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral service at 1:00 pm. Visitation and services will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8089 U.S. Highway 51 North, Southaven, Mississippi, 38671. Interment will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Road E., Southaven, MS, 38671.
Sylvia Ann Childs was born on October 24, 1950, to James Curtis and Gladys Jenice Nichols in Memphis, Tennessee. She loved the New Orleans Saints football team, and her animals, whom she spoiled rotten, but above all things she loved her family.
Sylvia is survived by her 3 Children: Curtis Childs (Kristi), Amanda Childs, and Phillip Childs (Jessica); 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 Brother, Larry Nichols. She is preceded in death by her parents, James C. & Gladys J. Nichols, her loving husband of many years, Roy Childs, and her brother, Gary Nichols.
