Sylvia Pannell, age 75 passed away July 24, 2022. A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Thursday, August 04, 2022, from 5:30pm -7:00pm at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pannell was born April 01, 1947, in Memphis, TN to Grady & Eddie Mae Taylor. On September 06, 2015, Sylvia accepted Jesus Christ as savior when she was baptized and joined Longview Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi. She spent her working years in a clerical position at FedEx and Spirco until her retirement from both companies, 25 years later. Sylvia was very detailed oriented, outspoken and was the matriarch of her family.
Sylvia leaves behind her husband of over 20 years, Paul Pannell; children, Teresa LaDawn Sandidge (Thomas), Tia Michele Mcintyre (Ronnie Holliday); grandchildren; Charles Blake Anyon, James Cory Penland, Hunter Mcintyre; brothers; Grady & Charles Taylor; Niece; Geneva Phillips & Terry Young; Great-Niece; Angie Engle of Grenada Mississippi; Nephews; Eddy Taylor, Scott Taylor, & Tony Taylor.
Those preceded in death include her parents, Grady & Eddie Mae Taylor, Siblings Mary Ethel Mayhan & Buddy Foster, and her dog Diva.
