Teresa Inez Shaffer, 63,of Horn Lake, Mississippi passed away in her home on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 6:06 a.m. Services will be held privately at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven, Mississippi. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Teresa was born on June 22, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee. Teresa was a very kind-hearted and humble woman who was always thinking of others and putting them first. She loved to make others happy and always put a smile on the faces of those around her. She most enjoyed gardening, bird watching, having conversations on the phone with her family and friends, and cooking delicious meals. She was a longtime resident of Memphis, Tennessee until she met her late husband, Willard Shaffer, and they moved to Horn Lake in the early 2000’s. She was a very loving mother, dedicated wife, and phenomenal sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Calvin Shaffer Jr., and her parents Beulah Mae Ball and Kenneth Lathel Ball.
She is survived by her three children, Tina McGregor of Horn Lake,MS, Garrett Shaffer of Nesbit,MS, and Breanna Shaffer of Horn Lake,MS; one sister, Barbara Fortune of Olive Branch, MS; one brother, Larry (Nancy) Ball of Katy, TX; two grandchildren, Brittany and Scott Jr McGregor; five nieces, Sherry, Tonya,Angela, Stephanie, and Jenna; and a host of other family and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.
