Thomas “Tommy” R. Stone

Thomas “Tommy” R. Stone, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at his home in Southaven, MS. He was born on November 17, 1956, in Oakland, CA, and was one of four children of the late Luther and Ophelia Stone.
Tommy lived his life to the fullest. He especially enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, coaching his children in numerous sports, and cheering on his grandchildren in their many activities. He was a long-time member of Colonial Hills Church and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Stone; his children – Cortney Swiggart and her husband Brad, Meagan Stone, and Tyson Stone and his wife Beth; 5 grandchildren – Owen, Colton, & Presley Swiggart and Ella & Lucy Stone; and siblings – Yvonne Ware, Michell Stone, and Tim Stone, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend by all who had the privilege to know him.
