Uba Rebecca Dooley, 92, of Southaven, Mississippi passed away on March 19, 2021 peacefully in her home. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 starting at 12:30 p.m. at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS). Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Uba was born on March 7, 1929 in the state of Mississippi. One of her favorite things to do on her spare time was to draw. Uba’s favorite color was yellow. She loved being a mother and a best friend. Most of all, Uba would do anything for anyone and was always there when you needed her. Uba will truly be missed by the warm hugs she gave and smile that lit up the room.
Uba is survived by her son, Thomas Cooper; a host of nieces and nephews; a long time friend, Elizabeth Paris; and her dog, Shallow.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Clyde Dooley; and parents, Will and Ophellia Usry.
