Vera Esther Brooks, 64, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Vera was born on December 23, 1955 in Brazil, Mississippi. She was a beautician for most of her life. Vera was proudly a cosmetology instructor/ manager at a Tennessee school of cosmetology. Most of all Vera loved her family, especially her grandchildren, more than anything in the world. She will be greatly missed for the unconditional love and support she gave.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Rodney Brooks; son, Barney (Kerri) Swindoll; four grandchildren, Lindsay, Tristin, Madison, and Savannah; brothers, Rodney Long, and Hugh Bledsoe.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Wilma Bledsoe.
