Just learned yesterday about your mother. My mother lives at Hearthside and that’s how I met Nita. She was a job to be around and I always enjoyed talking with her any chance I had. She will be missed by all who knew her. I remember her telling me about all of you being together during the Christmas holidays last year and what a great time she had. Thinking of your family during this time.

    Diane,
Your mom had such a wonderful presence when she entered a room. She had a million dollar smile. We’ll never forget how she loved to hand out ice cream treats to the other residents at Hearthside. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I’m so sad to hear of the death of your Mama. She’s celebrating in Heaven with your Daddy and watching you and your children thrive. It’s been a very long time but I remember them from their time in Drew. (And, of course, you.)

Love and prayers for all in this time of loss.

    Butch

I just loved your mother. We were kindred spirits in love of our sports.

I think the best testament of her is that she reared such a wonderful, kind, loving, daughter, Diane.

    To the Callahan Family

Miss Nita was a wonderful lady. She had a special sense of humor and her smile will always be remembered. She had many friends that are going to miss her very much.
May she be at peace now and watch those ball games from heaven. She loved her sports and we talked about the big games when they were over. Win or loose she has a great attitude. She was so proud of her family. She talked about them and how much they all meant to her all the time. My prayers go out to her family.
